Terms of Service

By creating an account or making a booking through this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Bunheads Ballet School(“we”, “us”, or “our”), operating in British Columbia, Canada.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make bookings. If you are booking on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you accept these terms on their behalf.

All class bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to low enrolment, instructor illness, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered a refund, credit, or alternative class.

Cancellation terms vary by booking type:

• Drop-in classes — You may cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled class start time. A credit will be returned to your account, which you can use toward a future class. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time are not eligible for a credit.
• Progressive series & performance packages — These multi-class packages are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
• Workshops — Workshop bookings are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Class credits — Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Credits have no cash value and may not be transferred to another account.

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where required. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due for your booking.

Participation in dance classes involves physical activity and carries inherent risk of injury. You are required to sign a liability waiver before attending your first class. By signing the waiver, you acknowledge the risks involved and release Bunheads Ballet School from liability for injury arising from participation, except where caused by our gross negligence.

If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations, it is your responsibility to consult a healthcare professional before participating and to inform your instructor.

Students and guests are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other participants at all times. We reserve the right to remove any person from a class, or to suspend or terminate an account, if their conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or contrary to the welcoming environment we maintain.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Please notify us immediately at contactus@bunheadsballet.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and branding — is the property of Bunheads Ballet School and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written permission.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bunheads Ballet School is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this platform or participation in classes. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia) or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

We reserve the right to modify class schedules, pricing, and instructors at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website or email. Bookings already confirmed at the time of a price change will not be affected.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
